A glass shower usually comes up at one of two points: a renovation where the tile is finished and the opening is waiting for glass, or an old framed door or tub curtain that’s finally being replaced. We handle both, across Oshawa and the Durham Region.

We measure only after the tile and curbs are done. Bathroom walls are rarely square, and an opening that’s out of plumb by a quarter inch changes how each panel is cut. The glass is then tempered to those measurements, which is why it can’t be trimmed on install day.

Sliding, pivot and hinged doors

The right door style depends on the space in front of your shower. Sliding (bypass) doors need no swing clearance, so they are the go-to for tubs and tight bathrooms. Pivot and hinged doors swing out and give the widest, most open entry for walk-in showers. We also build fixed glass panels and splash screens for curb-less and walk-in designs.

Tub doors and tub enclosures

Replacing a shower curtain with a glass tub door is one of the quickest ways to update a bathroom. We install sliding bypass tub doors, hinged tub screens and full glass tub enclosures, all cut to your tub deck and wall.

Hardware, finishes and glass options

We stock a range of shower hardware to match your enclosure. If you want a finish or part we don’t carry, tell us and we’ll source it. The full hardware range is on our supplier’s website, C.R. Laurence (CRL).

How measuring and installation works

Once your tile work is complete, we take precise on-site measurements and custom-fabricate your glass to ensure an exact fit, including any required notches or cut-outs. Installation typically takes place within two to four weeks of the final measurement. On installation day, our team carefully installs the hardware and glass, applies the necessary seals, and cleans the area before leaving, ensuring a polished, professional finish.

Repair of existing shower doors

Door dragging, leaking or out of level? We replace hinges, rollers, seals, sweeps and handles, and we can replace a single broken panel without redoing the whole enclosure.

Common questions

How long does a custom shower enclosure take?

Most enclosures install in a few hours. Because the glass is cut to your opening, allow roughly two to four weeks between the final measure and installation.

When should you measure for a shower door?

After the tile and curbs are finished. Measuring earlier can mean the glass does not fit the final opening.

Do frameless shower doors leak?

Frameless doors leave small gaps around the glass, so a little water can escape. Accurate measurements, a careful install and a properly sloped sill keep most of it inside the shower, and vinyl or bubble seals and thresholds can be added if you need them.

Can you fix my existing shower door instead of replacing it?

Often, yes. We replace hinges, rollers, seals and single broken panels on most enclosures.
